On March 3rd, the team at EM Duggan graciously opened the doors to their new plumbing prefabrication shop to the Boston Chapter of ASPE. This event reached full capacity the same day registration opened and the turnout at the event was great despite the snow!
The evening started with the typical social hour and elbow rubbing and was followed by a delicious BBQ dinner. After dinner, Kevin Walsh from EM Duggan presented the chapter with a video that outlined the fab shop construction and a bit of company history.
Small group tours of the various facilities included the company office space, mechanical prefab shop and plumbing prefab shop which included a cast iron cutting line, carrier assembly, welding station, groove fitting station, testing station, and others.
