Devoted father of Lenoard Iannesa of Hyde Park and Janet Provost and her husband William of Scituate. Loving grandfather of Keith Provost of NY. Brother of Joan Murphy of Somerville and the late Frank, Robert and Richard Iannessa. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at St. Pius X Church, 101 Wolcott Rd., Milton at 10 o'clock.
Visiting hours: will be held at the , Laughlin, Nichols & Pennacchio F.H., 34 Oak St., HYDE PARK, Tuesday, 4-8 P.M. WWII Army Veteran. Retired Employee City of Boston Public Facilities. As a boy I remember Joe as the father of one of my schoolmates, Janet, and a friend and Holy Name associate of my father.
During my older professional years, Mr. Iannessa became "Joe" as I had the privilege to work with and learn from him.
One of the best, and a gentleman of the highest degree.

We love Uncle Joe. Uncle Joe and Aunt Yoli were beautiful in every way. So many memories. Janet and Lenny inherited their dad's grace and love of family.
