MONITORING/MAINTAINING ODOR CONCENTRATION LEVELS DOWNSTREAM OF GAS METER

Have you ever wondered why your local gas company adds odor to natural gas and how much is added? If so, please join our joint monthly meeting with the Greater Boston Plumbing Contractors Associations (GBPCA). The April technical topic will be on Monitoring and Maintaining Odor Concentration Levels Downstream of the Gas Meter. This meeting will be held on April 11, 20017 at The Lantana in Randolph MA.  


This session will focus on:

  • Issues with Gas Odor Levels
  • Program Components and equipment used
  • Case Studies

 

This session will be presented by Mr. Mark Gunsalus and Mr. Ed Flynn. Mark is currently the Regional sales manager for Mulcare Pipeline Solutions in the New England Region. Mark has over 30 years in the industry and worked at Eversource Energy for 28 years in various capacities. Mark has presented several times at the IGT Odorization Symposium in Chicago during his career. He has also been part of and led teams for odorant design programs since the mid 1980’s.  Ed Flynn has over 40 years in the industry and has worked with Mulcare since 2001. Ed developed the Service Department for Odorization Services throughout the Mulcare territory. He has also written many papers on Odorization.
